Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Short version: R3BBIT does not collect, transmit, or share any of your baby's personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. The free version displays ads via Google AdMob (which may collect standard advertising data), but AdMob never sees your baby's tracking information.
1. Who We Are
R3BBIT is a baby tracking application ("the App") developed for personal use by parents and caregivers.
For any privacy-related questions, contact: hello@bagramlabs.com
2. What Data the App Stores
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Feeding logs (time, volume, unit)
- Sleep and wake logs (time, duration)
- Diaper logs (time, type)
- Schedule settings (wake windows, feed intervals)
- Soothe sound preferences and timer settings
- App preferences (unit system, hand preference, color coding, haptic feedback)
- Pro version purchase status (stored by Google Play, not by us)
This data is stored in Android's private shared preferences and internal storage.
It is accessible only to the App and is deleted when the App is uninstalled.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
R3BBIT does not:
- Transmit any of your baby's tracking data to external servers or third parties
- Collect personal information, names, email addresses, or contact information
- Access your location
- Require account registration or login
Exception: If you use the free version with ads, Google AdMob may collect standard device advertising data as described in Section 4.1 below. This is standard for ad-supported apps and does not include your baby's tracking data.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of R3BBIT displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
What AdMob may collect:
- Device advertising ID
- IP address
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
AdMob does NOT have access to:
- Your baby's tracking data (feeds, diapers, sleep logs)
- Any personal information you enter in the App
- Your schedule or preferences
AdMob is used solely to display non-targeted advertisements in the free version.
Google's privacy policy applies to data collected by AdMob:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
How to avoid ads:
- Upgrade to R3BBIT Pro (one-time in-app purchase)
- Pro removes all advertisements permanently
4.2 In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
R3BBIT offers a Pro version via one-time in-app purchase:
- Purchase is processed through Google Play's billing system
- Google processes payment information (we never see credit card details)
- Purchase removes all advertisements from the App
- No subscription - one-time payment only
- Purchase status is stored locally on your device and synced via Google Play
Google Play's privacy policy applies to billing data:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
5. Optional Features That Use the Internet
5.1 Crash Reporting (Opt-In Only)
Note: Crash reporting is OFF by default. You must explicitly enable it in Settings.
If you choose to enable crash reporting in Settings, the App will:
- Save crash logs locally when the App unexpectedly closes
- Store these logs in the App's private directory on your device
- Never automatically transmit these logs anywhere
What crash logs contain:
- Technical error information (stack traces)
- Device model and Android version
- App version and which screen you were on
- NOT your baby's data (feeds, diapers, sleep logs, etc.)
How crash logs are shared:
- Logs remain on your device until you choose to share them
- When you submit a bug report via "Report Bug / Request Feature", you'll be asked if you want to include crash logs
- You can choose "No" and submit your bug report without crash logs
- If you choose "Yes", crash logs are sent to our GitHub Issues page (public repository)
- Crash logs are used solely for debugging and fixing app issues
How to control crash reporting:
- Open R3BBIT
- Go to Settings
- Toggle "CRASH REPORTS: ON/OFF"
- Default is OFF
Deleting crash logs:
- Crash logs are automatically deleted when you uninstall the App
- You can also clear app data in Android Settings to delete all logs
5.2 Bug Reports & Feedback
When you submit feedback via "Report Bug / Request Feature":
- You provide: Bug title, description (and optionally crash logs if enabled)
- We collect: App version, device model, Android version
- NOT collected: Your baby's tracking data, personal information, or identifiable data
- Feedback is submitted to GitHub Issues (public repository at github.com/bagramlabs/R3BBIT)
- Your GitHub username will NOT be associated with the report
6. Data You Export and Share
The App includes optional Export and Share features:
- Export CSV — saves a CSV file of your logs to your device's external storage and opens Android's share sheet (e.g. email, cloud storage).
- Import CSV — allows you to select and read a CSV file from your device using Android's file picker. The App only reads files you explicitly choose. Imported data is stored locally on your device.
- Share Charts — allows you to share trend charts (feeding, sleep, diaper statistics) as PNG images via Android's share sheet. Chart images are temporarily saved to the App's cache directory and can be shared with any app you choose (messaging, email, cloud storage).
All export and share actions are always initiated by you. Once shared, the data is subject to the privacy policy of whichever service you choose to share it with. The App does not transmit this data on your behalf.
7. Clipboard Access
The App's Toolbox feature allows you to copy and paste log data via the system clipboard.
This is used solely for backing up or transferring your own data between devices.
The App reads the clipboard only when you explicitly tap "Paste from Clipboard."
8. Notifications and Audio
The Soothe feature plays audio and displays a persistent notification while active, which allows you to control playback from the notification tray. No audio data is recorded or transmitted. Notification permission is requested on Android 13 and above solely to display the Soothe playback control.
9. File Storage Permissions
The App uses Android's FileProvider to temporarily store chart images in its private cache directory when you share charts. This does not require broad storage permissions. Chart images are automatically cleaned up by Android when cache space is needed.
10. Children's Privacy
R3BBIT is designed to be used by parents and caregivers, not by children directly.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
Data entered into the App relates to infant care activities and is stored
solely on the caregiver's device.
11. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights
under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access – all your data is visible directly within the App under Logs.
- Right to rectification – you can edit any log entry directly in the App.
- Right to erasure – you can delete individual entries or wipe all data via Settings → Wipe All Data. Uninstalling the App also permanently deletes all stored data. Crash logs are also deleted when you clear app data or uninstall.
- Right to data portability – you can export all your data as a CSV file at any time via Toolbox → Export as CSV.
- Right to object – you can disable crash reporting at any time in Settings. For advertising, you can remove ads by upgrading to Pro or use Android's advertising settings to limit ad tracking.
Because all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it,
we act as neither a data controller nor a data processor in the traditional GDPR sense
for your baby tracking data. You are in full control of your data at all times.
For crash reports (if enabled), we act as a data controller only for the technical crash
data you explicitly choose to send us via bug reports.
For advertising data collected by Google AdMob, Google acts as the data controller.
Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information about your rights regarding
advertising data.
12. Data Retention
Data is retained on your device until you delete it manually or uninstall the App.
We have no ability to access, retrieve, or delete your data remotely.
If you submit crash logs via a bug report to GitHub, those logs remain on GitHub's
servers as part of the public issue. You can request deletion by contacting us at
hello@bagramlabs.com.
Shared chart images are stored temporarily in your device's cache and are automatically
cleaned up by Android. Once you share them with another app, they are subject to that
app's data retention policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a future version of the App, the updated policy will be
made available on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
14. Contact
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or your data, please contact:
